Biography
It all started at my uncle’s Ebony club, which gave me an invaluable platform to showcase my skills and experiment with different techniques and genres. From there, I decided to branch out on my own and start a mobile DJ service, catering to a diverse range of events and gatherings throughout the community. It wasn’t long before my reputation as a talented and versatile DJ began to spread like wildfire, and I found myself booking gigs left, right, and center.
One of the highlights of my career as a DJ was undoubtedly my stint at a rollerskating rink in Bridgeport. Here I truly honed my craft and pushed myself to new heights, constantly challenging myself to mix and blend different tracks and genres in innovative and exciting ways. It was a challenging and exhilarating experience, and one that I will always cherish as a defining moment in my career.
But my journey as a DJ was far from over after my time in Michigan. In fact, it was just getting started. In the early 90s, I decided to pack up my bags and move across the country to Washington State , determined to take my skills to the next level and carve out a name for myself in a new and exciting scene. It was here that I joined the ranks of the Thunder Jam Alliance as a proud member of the Jamba Lyons, working tirelessly alongside other talented musicians and producers to create new tracks and cultivate a vibrant and supportive community of music lovers.
As if that wasn’t enough, I also had the opportunity to work as a DJ for one of the groups in the production, bringing my skills and creativity to a whole new audience of music lovers. And when I wasn’t in the studio, I was busy rocking the house at McChord Air Force Base, spinning hits and keeping the party going all night long.
